As a counselor, my goal is to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and empowered to grow, wherever you are in your journey.
My dream of becoming a counselor began during my secondary school years. I witnessed and realized how mental health problems directly contributed to the rapid development of my late grandmother’s dementia. Since then, I have dedicated my life to helping people heal from their struggles and improve their lives through personal discovery and active change.
During my studies, I had the privilege of learning about the workings of the human mind. Throughout my practice as a counselor, I have worked with clients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and identities. This includes refugee children navigating school life in challenging environments, adults balancing work, relationships, and personal challenges, and LGBTQIA+ individuals exploring their unique ways of life. This experience has deepened my understanding that growth looks different for everyone, and each person’s story deserves to be met with compassion and respect.
Whether you hope to feel more connected, manage overwhelming emotions, or simply understand yourself better, I tailor my approach to emphasize self-compassion and empowerment. Instead of fighting difficult emotions, we will learn how to live alongside them while staying true to what matters to us.
Outside the therapy room, I am an avid learner and stay connected to the ever-evolving field of mental health through workshops, books, and reading Psychology Today. I believe that the more I continue to learn, the better I can support those I work with.
Therapy with me is a conversation, a collaboration, and a place where you are not alone. I am here to listen, guide, and walk with you toward whatever healing or clarity you are seeking.
