Therapy For Children

Let the little one be heard to create a stronger bond.

Being A Parent Changes You.

The sleepless nights, the millionth diaper change, countless bottles made and most of all, the constant worry that we have over our little humans.

There comes a point in our lives where our priorities change, and it’s for them that we strive for.

But try as we may, there’s only so much we can do to shield our loved ones from pain and hardship. Arguably, these experiences, albeit painful, form an important part of a child’s development, teaching them invaluable lessons in resilience as well as the ability to pick yourself up again when you fall down.

Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

One misconception that many people have about therapy for children, is that it’s primarily focussed on the children themselves. Whilst for the older teenagers this is true, for the younger ones, a lot of good work is done with the parents, where we share different ways in which we can be more effective parents for them. Children oftentimes thrive on consistency, and the best place for this would be through their parents.

In essence, teamwork makes the dream work, and a collaboration between the child, parents and therapists would facilitate the best outcomes possible. Children are incredibly resilient in their own right, and with the right support, we can give them the best opportunity to thrive.
